Portuaria led the design, manufacture and installation of a new floating dock for the Villafranca de Córdoba City Council, aimed at improving the sports facilities linked to rowing and other water activities carried out on the Guadalquivir River.
The dock was designed to provide access to the boats throughout the year, ensuring the facility's operability despite the changes in water level and the current conditions typical of the river.
Its exclusive double connecting-rod system stands out, keeping the platform permanently horizontal, eliminating the list caused by occasional overloads and automatically adapting to water-level fluctuations — with variations of up to ± 3.5 metres and current speeds of up to 4 m/min.
